Sadece çiçeğe benzediği için değil meyve ağacının evrelerinin temsil etmesinden dolayı ‘Yaşam Çiçeği’ ismini almıştır. Kutsal geometri ile bağdaştırılır. Semavi dinlerinin hepsinde kullanılmıştır.
